I got a call from this number today at 3:20pm. I missed the call but when I rang back, no one picked up. Cold call or Brighton Council??
Silent call. Might be wrong number, might be spoofed. Hung up and blocked.
SCAM I didn't answer but automated message left on my voicemail to tell me they've taken money for my Amazon account. I don't have an Amazon account!! Number now blocked on my phone.

I reported HSBC to make a new debit card as I doubted my card's details were hacked last week. And a woman just rang me from HSBC by like Indian accent. I doubted HSBC wouldn't ring me like that. I told her to e-mail me and I hung up, and I blocked the number of 0345-600-8050, and I checked the number on this site. I already got a new debit card recently. Why did the genuine HSBC want to ring me now?

Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. AUTOMATED CALL - SCAM Automated call saying there had been 2 attempts to pay for goods from my card, one of which was over £1000. Saying to complete my debit card details in order to prevent fraud. My bank would never leave a telephone message in such an event, and wouldn't ask for my bank details over the phone. Call was from Eastbourne
