A guy with a strong eastern accent, called Jason, phoned me claiming to be from BT, claiming that my Internet address had become visible to everyone and that people would try to scam me. He wanted me to open Google but I said I couldn't. It felt like a scam of some sort.

Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.

Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. As usual, no message was left on the answerphone, which is always suspicious! Now blocked.
This number calls me every day with two or three times at about 10 minute intervals. They never leave any messages. Clearly they know that I would not wish to speak to them. They seem associated with another number 07482874785 which also calls each day with the same pattern and often one number makes its calls and is then followed 10 to 15 minutes later by the sequence from the other number.
Nuisance cold call. Block this number.

*SCAM* Amazon Prime Renewal! (Spoofed number - Probably someones home number!) Obviously A SCAM - I don't have 'Amazon Prime' account. Recorded message/menu, that sounds totally REAL!! NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!
