Umpteen calls asking if I am on a pension and if so I can get a free boiler if I am on benefits or a pension. When I asked why I was repeatedly called the caller just laughed at me and after a few seconds ended the call. You can t call back to complain to a Manager as the call won t connect. If true about the boilers, why are us workers funding boilers for people who don t work anyway?!!

Purportedly from Homeguard Direct, one of a number of south coast based companies claiming to block nuisance calls. In this call I was informed that I was due to pay ?124.99 as a final payment for their services. Whilst I agree that I have had dealings with the company in the past, I have no recollection/documentation of a fee for their services . I did not pass over any information regarding bank or credit card details. I was threatened with debt collectors.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?

Message left on home phone allegedly from the Bank of Scotland Fraud section asking for me to call them with a code number due to apparent activity on my account. Phoned the number supplied and they said they did not recognize my phone number and as such wanted my card number and sort code - which I refused to supply. Subsequently contacted my bank who confirmed that this IS DEFINITELY A SCAM and is not the way in which they operate.

SCAM .All bout betting on horses, but I don't bet, so where the hell they got my number from. I am on the TPS for many years, but seem to get through & have blocked unwanted texts on my phone, sadly doesn't work. I sent them to my mobile company hopefully they can do something. Text CALL 7726.Text came from Russia, but look likes from the UK, don't be fooled.
Number came up, phone recognised its area code as London. Answered the call, woman asked if she could speak to me, actually specifically asked for me by name. Didn't confirm my name, and asked who was calling, then she hung up.
