I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. I been contacted many times in the past few years by these scammers on very similar 0161 939 numbers. Don't recognise number just know it's a Gloucester number declined and ignored.

It is a survey company. Indian man called me asking if I would take part in a 5 minute survey. I replied that I had no time and he just told me goodbye. I decided to block the number then.

This number has rung me several times during the day in the last week or so, as I am unable to answer my mobile at work, I have not spoken to the caller but on looking up the number I m pleased that I haven t.

Rung me 6 times in half an hour today. I didn't answer as I never answer numbers that are not in my phone book. I have now blocked it.

Didn t say what company it was just a PPI claims managment company claims that they bought details from a marketing database company. Missed-called my phone then only identified themselves when called back. Wouldn t trust any company that uses these sort of dodgy marketing tactics.

I was called today and it looks like a potential scam

Fake spoofed scammer telephone number [“spoofed” = being used fraudulently]. Number is also invalid / unrecognised [7-digit number length is not acceptable]. :-)

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.
