Called from Microsoft saying I had been hacked and my user name was being used for pornography. I have young kids so was really worried and I was a total idiot and gave them remote access. They tried to get me to pay for a lifetime membership of Microsoft security protection through a money gram . When I refused they started deleting my work. I unplugged the phone and Internet and have informed my bank and visa but now ide what state my of will be in . Beware and don't be an idiot like me!!

Called by an Indian-sounding woman (Jessie?) about a "survey" I had apparently taken part in - something I never do. When I mentioned this, she immediately rang off. Clearly a scam of some sort.
This number just called me and a robotic voice stated that there is a fraud charge registered by HMC under my name and if I do not answer the call I will get arrested shortly. This is not the behaviour of HMRC. Something needs to be done about these thieves.
