Scam call claiming that £600 has been paid on my credit card to a foreign country.
This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Carphone warehouse, but all the range 019164046xx is used for some call centre = can work for multiple clients... Called today nSpoke to “ Albert Wilson “ nSaid I’d got £1826. Due in ppi nAsked for my dob , when I asked why he needed this , he immediately hung up nPeople beware !!!
I don't know who is behind this one, 2 missed calls within 2 days, probably some call centre trying to reach me. I don't want to hear any "great" offer... Srry for providing no better info, was also trying to find something more for this number, but no luck.
