Today s call was to interest me in shop vouchers. Well that is what I thought she said (in a strong regional accent) !!

I had a call from "Blake Jones" who was not easy to understand as he had an Indian or similar accent, stating my name and address, and then saying that he was from BT ...

SCAM Said it was tax owned that I'd face legal action if I didn't give my details. I've been out of work for a year so knew this dudnt make sense. Still worrying.
Scam - A case against me for tax evasion, a warrant issued for my arrest, press 1 for more info, number then call dies (automated voice in American accent of course!)
SCAM The usual Indian criminals trying to get your details from you, this time for Life Insurance.

SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.
Same scam here. Glad I didn?t fall for it. Regret I was too polite.
