I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. When I wanted a repair doing and contacted Hotpoint they arranged the repair and then told me I had no cover in place and billed me. I contacted Appliance serve and they were in complete denial about posing as Indecit and are
I agree with other comments. They had my name and address (when they should not have). I was stupid enough to confirm this. they ask you do you have a car, make/brand of car, and other products you may own. and some other lifestyle choice questions. I started saying "no comment" to every question and 5 questions later they hung up on me.

Fraud
Called daily without leaving message on landline. Got hold of me today and I told them I had nothing to claim.

Called back and got recorded msg saying the number had been misused for malicious purposes.
Just had call from this number to say they would stop all unwanted calls got round to asking me who I bank with and did I still have same bank card number he read first 4 digits...
Keep receiving calls from this number and when I answer no one is there very annoying

SCAM - Phishing. Advised from monitoring department for trading, and something about financial advise, before going through security. They mentioned a recent deposit but I havn't deposited anything, though I did register with trading platforms recently. They hung up when I said I didn't want help or any sales.
