A automated computer voice call claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying they were going to take a direct debit from my account for Amazon prime and to press button no. 1 if i need to speak to someone. Think its a crank call trying to steal information. Direct debit information should be in writing, not by voice call

01522 535291 is a Lincoln (UK) number. The phone book says it is allocated to a named person in Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln. I called the number to advise this person. Amazon were saying to me on 17 July 21 that a purchase had been made. Asian female voice, yawning. The machine told me 'the number has not been recognised'.
