Don t know the scam but scam it certainly is. Drop the call quickly.

SCAM Phoned my wife today telling her she had spent £600 on her credit card and needed to check her details she laughed and ended the call
Ask them to hang on for a second then place your radio next to the phone with your chosen station at full blast - they can't disconnect until you hang up.
