Calls just as I arrive home in the evening. I answer and the ;ine is live for about 20 seconds then goes dead. No One speaks. When I ring it back I just get an engaged tone.

Recorded message, British accent not dissimilar to mine, says they are BT investigating suspicious activity on my line and will be disconnecting phone and internet unless I press 1 to connect with an executive. I'm not well but feel this is probably a scam.

very noisy call centre. usual patter, how are you today etc claptrap.. said they are offering incentives in my area, they are asking about life planning, at that point I cut them off. Nuisance call,when is this harassment going to be stopped...I will report as usual to the ICO, probably another waste of time, great job if you can get it..
SCAM - They claim to be National Insurance reporting that you've had a case of identity theft. The voice is automated but the number is obviously a persona/basic phone number.
