SCAM - Unsolicited phone call from a number I didn't recognise. Answered but didn't speak and heard only silence. After five seconds the call hung up so no doubt an automated system that waits to hear someone's voice. Without a doubt a scam.

Called 12th June auto message saying they were cutting off our broadband connection in the next 24 to 48 hours, press 1 to connect with an operator. She answered and said she was in Broad St London when it is a Birmingham number and when asked who she was calling on behalf she said Open Reach (BT) but our internet is with another provider. I asked twice why they were cutting off our lines then she rang off.

I answered but didn't speak, they then hung up. I have now blocked this number.

Call centre I think as lots of noise in background. Man with Asian accent asking about a recent accident?
This number is embedded in a fake Tesco invoice pdf. Its a phishing email designed to scare you into thinking someone is buying iPhones with your account.

Silent call I find most any call before 10.00 am on the landline tends to be marketing or survey calls, plus auto diallers checking out for answers to follow up with. With this number, just picked up phone without speaking and waited for a response- disconnected within seconds
Hung up on me when I answered.
