Number from a mis-sold PPI consumer compensation hot line who phone me about 4 times a day, even though I have told them I am not due any compensation.

They called so I called the back they are a company saying they can help right of 70persent of the debt how did they get my name and number tho

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

Has rung our offices on 4 seperate occasions, the first 2 saying my colleague was awaiting her call - he wasnt, then i advised we werent interested and she has just rung again. Exceptionally pushy and rude when i asked to remove us from her call list.

I ve put Trustworthy to indicate that it is indeed the company that are calling. Actually it isn t. These are simply self employed people who get a commission if they manage to get any money out of you out agree to anything. There are several things you can do: First of all don t be intimidated. They are just people. Ask them how their day is, what the weather is like where they are, how they are feeling today and so on. Take control of the call, don t let them dictate to you. Their phoning mobiles "about their mobile phone insurance", and claiming that the number has been obtained by "market research". Utter rubbish - number has been mine for over 12 years and is purely for emergency family contacts. Not given out to anyone else.
