SCAM/Fraud claiming to be National Crime Agency and there has been illegal use of my NI number
Female caller with Asian accent claimed to be from Google, knew my surname, and began a query about my laptop or computer. As I didn't believe it a genuine call I said I'd sold my computer about three months ago. She asked about my Google ID (email?) and I feigned ignorance. She terminated the call. As my landline is not referenced by any of my Google accounts, this must be a scam.

npower text to confirm/change/cancel appt to install smartmeter....all rubbish, just expensive text back.
SCAM / SPAM. Never answered but rang it back says energy savings press 1 for this 2 for that etc, very distant recording not professional, definitely a scam caller.
A national oven cleaning co. cold calling, withheld number. No. given said to be false.
Hung up when I answered. Must use multi calling system. Guess they will try again later.
This number is calling me since a week now. When i try to call them back they just hang up. after some investigation i found a freephone number for them (08009878999). they answered with "positive protect". when i asked him who they are he said that they are a an outbound call centre. i ask them to delete me from their system and he assured me that i never will get calls from them.
