Used by fraudsters to remotely taking over computers, pretending the call from BT Broadband Technical Departent.
Rang about an endowment .. haven;t had one for twenty years, they hung up. This is despite being registered with TPS. They should be fined but no noe cares about these pests.
Missed call
SCAM SCAMMERS from an Indian call centre again. Pertaining to be from BT trying to get remote access to my computer using Anydesk this time. After wasting their time and being put through their so-called senior technician, he told me to F**K OFF. That's what I call a real result.

The call-blocking scam. Again. Seeking bank account details from my debit card (not the 16-digit card number or 3-digit security number) on the pretext that this info, being used for the direct debit with my phone provider is also used to "register" with the call-blocking service. If I verified my identity by providing it, I would benefit from an improved call-blocking service. Claimed to have that info but couldn t read it to me because of data protection!
