Received a call in the afternoon, after answering it and saying hello the caller hung up. So I tried calling the number to see who this caller was and a operater responded that the number was dialed incorrectly. But I don t know how it could of been dialled incorrectly, because I didn t dial it as I just pressed the button on the phone to call the number back.
When I asked politely to be removed from their database he swore at meand hung up!!!!

SCAM Call 30/3/21 at 14:44. Clearly not the 0118 Reading UK source it looks like. Recorded female voice supposed to be security department of Amazon! Something about a purchase made by me for £1000 plus being taken from my account today.. I got 4 weeks free insurance as part of my vet s new puppy package. Phoned for a quote for comparison reasons. Now they keep phoning to ask if I m going to take out a policy. I told them from the outset that I would phone them back. Their sales technique has put me off using their insurance.
Getting calls from 66 ppi saying there trust advsiory when said not interested they dont take no for an answer i just hung up on them fed up getting calls from them everyday very annoying

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181422xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance marketing - mostly Harrington Consultancy. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
