Call received on 23 Sep 2020 at 15:52 An automated message, claiming to be HMRC, told me a fraud case was under my name and a warrant would be put out for my arrest if i did not transfer the call (press 1) to talk to an advisor. The person on the transferred call was a call center employee. They asked for my name, which i did not provide, and claimed that without it they could not tell why I had been transferred. This number called me this morning, claiming that I have made an application and my credit has been declined, but they can help... I asked what application did i make - because I did not apply for anything!- they asked me if i have debt or credit cards, because they offer to help.Basically they offer credit.I told them that I am not interested.
