Phone Jan 5th 2022 mid afternoon. Thought it was local garage new number but when i tried to call back strange bleep noise. (Was not the garage new number!)

Recorded message about supposed debt relief scheme. I "pressed 9 to opt out of further calls", though this may be not the best thing to do as I may have been added to an illegal database of people who respond to calls.

Automated call from HMRC suggesting I was about to be taken to court and to press 1 to talk. They clarified my name, said they would call up my file and then asked for my NI number. I replied yes and they hung up. Lots of noise in the background as though someone was tutoring them.
