Fraud suspected. Automated call saying they were from the Chinese Embassy and then switched to speaking in Chinese.

Phone call from this number offering warranty on my fridge, cooker & washing machine. I was not interested in any cover & the tone of the call led me to immediately believe that this was a scam call. Terminated the call.
SCAM Some chancer I couldn't really understand claiming my maintenance contract for something or other is up for renewal. I never take out maintenance contracts on anything as a matter of principle, as it generally works out cheaper to pay as you go, so I know this isn't true. When I told him this, he insisted: "Ma'am, you are locked into a contract with us" - also obviously not true - why would he need to call me about "renewal" if I'm already locked in, as he claims? Ju
Asian caller claiming to be from the carphone warehouse company (yeah right), about an exciting offer and he could give me the most up-to-date phone. I told him that I don't use mobile phones and just stayed quiet, he hung up about 2 minutes later. What an idiot, the muppet was talking to me on a mobile phone. Now blocked ????
probably a scam as a text claimed Simon tried to deliver a parcel and wanted me to click on a link. Not going to happen
