SCAM / SPAM Fraudsters playing a recorded voice with soft British accent, claiming to be calling from HMRC! It says there is a tax fraud case is open against you and if you don't press 1 to connect with the "agent" you will be arrested shortly!

Phone rang but stopped before I could answer it. When I rang back operator told me it was a 'wrong number'.

SCAM Automated call from 'Bank Security' saying payments had been taken from my card, one of £300 to Amazon and one an International Transfer of £1,100 (figures approximate). Call sent because, "I had never used these services before." An invitation followed to Press 1 or 2 to cancel or speak to an advisor. Looks like a genuine number from my geographical area. I did not press any digits, hung up and did not attempt a call-back. Perhaps a spoofed number - potentially dangerous.

Answered the phone, silence on the end of the line, followed by a beep and a message stating "We're sorry, we have been unable to connect your call, we'll try again later". Please don't bother...

SCAM!! A female with an Asian accent. Asked to speak to Mr XXXX (if you are going to scam someone at least get their gender right). Asking if I could secure whether I had any unsecured debt.
