Been called by this number 3 times past hour. Only rings for about 3 seconds then they hang up. Comes up as 'debt collection on my called identifier so I obviously got worried as I don't owe anyone any money. Glad I found these comments as it's put my mind at ease!

It's a firm called Abacus or something like, (I thought she said Adidas on the phone but presumably not). They try to sell you a Times subscription. We do read the Times and already have a subscription but they never cross check the database. I had a 'household survey' call the other day and answered the questions rather than just putting the phone down, one of the questions was 'Do you read the Times'. I'm ashamed of the times for using this service and we will have to consider changing newspapers.
