Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

Had a Spam Call with 01223936981 displayed (Cambridge). Recorded message played to me with usual '£700' suspicious charge from Amazon and '£2000' International Charge made on my Account etc. Ignored the request to respond. Telephoned the displayed number 15 minutes later, got 'unobtainable signal'. Note : an hour earlier had the same call but with a local Northampton number displayed. I called this number and the residents did not know anything about the Call. They reported it to BT for investigation.

This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. "Anyone have any numbers I can use to call this scum. " No. They use VOIP and number cloning, so what pops up on your phone isn't the number being called from. Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. If you choose not to bother to learn and not to bother to share what you learn, you're part of the problem.

I've been receiving lots of calls to my business mobile starting 0843. All of them without exception disconnect after around 3 rings. No doubt to get you to call back - so I suspect this is a scam, even though I'm the first to comment on this number here.

I had the same problem ordering from a company called Flawless Cosmetics with this number, they state they are a UK company where in fact they are a drop ship company from China. Do no order anything from this company as it will either take over 2 months to deliver your item or it will not turn up at all. I have tried contacting the company and they completely ignore every message I leave them. WARNING do not use this company. I highly doubt thier products pass any of the UK standards.
