SCAM - Call to my landline at 9.53 today. It was a pre-recorded message saying they were querying a suspicious Debit Card payment of £600 sent abroad. They did not say what bank or give any other details. I was asked to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to confirm. I hung up.

SCAM Fake HMRC automated call stating I'm wanted for tax

Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

Claimed to be from EE offering me an upgrade, either £7 sim only, or £30 unlimited calls/data and an iPhone 14+ for £30, both deals too good to be true! Pushed them to send me the information, got the customer service version of ~what's to think about, just pick one! so I hung up.

07539362591 just rang my father in law, claiming to be the bank about 2 payments of 249.99 and 990.00. luckily I was there to stop this, but these absolute arseholes need putting in jail. Absolute scumbags.

00472195 4274 called me 7Jun23 at 17:13 hours, NO message left this time. BUT see earlier comments reported here, 00472195 9400 called 7June23 at 14:57, left a message along the customary... this is a message from Amazon to advise that your Prime membership has expired and £95 has been charged to your account to renew. Definitely a Scam caller. Beware!

SCAM: 33758286792 & 33975819984 come up on phone as location France. They are scammers. 33758286792 rang today & hung up when i answered - 24 hours after a scammer message from 33975819984 rang claiming money had been transferred from account to foreign country. Treat these numbers as dangerous / scammers.

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Fraud SCAM Text Message. Got this msg "Hey Mum I have damaged my phone screen so I am on a temporary number can you whatsapp me 07517846236". I always ask for our dogs name as a security check! I contacted my children direct and they confirmed this was not from them.

Indian call centre person (could hear others in the background trying to scam others), claiming to be from the Utilities Department. Told him I knew he was a scammer as there is no such thing as the Utilities Department. He hung up and I blocked the number. They also use 0161 669 0643 and 0640. Seems they have purchased quite a few numbers to scam people.
