I called them from another phone number and could hear it was a busy call centre and they answered hello this is Jon at Expert Renewables - have you had a missed call from us? I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).
