Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 014833220xx) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?

Gave name as 'Olly' from 'BCR global'. Used the typically obnoxious bully boy tactics to try and speak to accounts payable. Unknown to him it was the ops manager who answered the phone and he was 'advised' where to go.
No reviews for this number but Google searching gave results for websites that look like spam (data recovery, internships & careers, saving money etc.) Blocked, better safe than sorry!

I did not reach the phone before my machine kicked in but as soon as my message started the phone call was ended. I do not know anyone in this area but I do know that the scammers are now able to link on to UK landlines to fool you into thinking it is from a UK number. Yesterday I had a similar call from a number about 15 miles from home but when I picked it up there was the usual call centre pause. When I tried ringing back there was no reply.

Claims to be calling from the rewards department from an EE call centre in India. Was told I can not call back as their line is only outbound and no web to browse their offers or phones? I was a little suspicions as if they where from EE they would of known not to start selling until my contact was up for renewal in 8months time.
Marketing. Will phone day or night will not stop even when asked. Take no for an answer.
