I’ve had Numerous calls from this number pretending to be virgin media it happened after I reported a genuine fool to virgin media which was shorted how do these people know that we have contacted virgin direct ?
Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.

Called me at 18.00 and asked me to verify my name. The guy mentioned he was from ARC legal when I asked who it was.I said they had the wrong number and hung up.

Despite sounding like a nice women and pausing at the right moments and responding to the answers you give, it is clearly automated! Pauses too long, not natural. When I asked if the caller was automated she said 'no' and then simply said 'no' to everything else I then said! I hung up. I suggest to ask for the name and of the company and the caller representative immediately and not proceed further with the call if this cannot be given!
