Very pushy salesman re replacement windows quoting something about a scappage scheme for windows installed pre 2012. Told him house was built in 2015 so I wasn t interested but he wouldn t accept this as a reason to decline. Still talking as I ended the call. Now blocked.
Called today. Recorded voice claiming to be from my broadband provider and they will be terminating my service due to suspicious traffic. Unable to disconnect the call till I had pressed the disconnect button several times and even after the voice stopped an obvious line was still open even though I could dial. If they call you ensure you have cleared the call before calling your Internet provider or use a different phone so they don't record your details.
Got a call from this number claiming to be BT Said I had a problem with my broadband. He then Asked me to get my computer and log on so he could fix it. Was not at all happy when I said I don t own a computer .( said I must have one as I had broadband

Caller with a London accent asked for me by name and said the warranty on my washing machine was due to expire and that she just needed to update the paperwork and said it would actually be cheaper, started by asking to confirm my postcode & address. This call was offensive. Saying from Fraud Squad and unless I entered 1 (one) a warrant would be issued for my arrest. It was loud and gruff. I hung up, some might feel threatened and fall for it.
