Scammers based in Bath telling me I have won £500k in US lottery!!!! Didn t wait to hear the rest of their rubbish so hung up.

Phones at least twice a day for a week. Nobody on the other end. Presume they are block calling and when the first person answers, the other calls drop out... ?

Like others on here, I frequently post things for sale on Gumtree. Today, after posting an item, I received a text from this number, asking me to contact them by email. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Auto call claiming to be from Amazon regarding an IPhone that they claim was being charged to my account. 
nIt did not ask for any details and did not ask for anybody

Addressed me by my first name and asked if I had a PPI claim refused. Devious as they used a local area code number

Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

irritating person keeps calling me to do some kind of survey say not interested they cut off,calls back later saying the same nonsense,later a lady with the same number for the same reason calls tell them not interested they hang up.just got a call now around 7pm.asian accent both of them.

They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up.
