Rang tonight, claims to be from Lloyds Bank. Very plausible. Stalled him and rang Lloyds on my other phone, they said it was a scam. Cheeky devil even had the nerve to call back after I hung up.

Fraud: Someone called using my name and told me it was about the cover on my washing machine. We don't have cover because we rent the machine so I guess they were after my card details under the pretence that my cover was about to expire. Sounded English though not the usual foreign accent.

Six times in a week this number has called and as I am on holiday I am charged to answer UK calls and answerphone. It must be an automatic dialer as any sane person would recognise a foreign ringtone.

Sick to death of the silent calls i have had today. This has been going on for months now and i am at my wits end. Occasionally an automated voice says goodbye before cutting off. I am getting all sorts of calls from many other numbers too......thank goodness i am moving and wont be taking my phone number with me!

They call me told me about some organization name I didn t remember but he spoke my name and told me that we are doing survey about PLC. I replied him, I am busy and told him to call me after 1 hour and he hung up saying thank you for you co-operation. Person s voice not seems to be like of real UK based accent.
