Called twice today. No answer when I picked up. Second time I let it ring and it went to answer machine but no message left. Now blocked.

Had call , tried to call back but number not in service

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

This number calls me but leaves no message on the answer machine.

Asked about a recent loan I had applied for then tried to cross sell me Individual Voluntary Arrangement.

Number has called 4 times in a week, they always hang up. Lots of noise in the background so clearly a call centre with nothing useful for me. I see this as harassment calling as they never bother to talk !

Caller identified himself as Calvin from Consumer Justice and then terminated the call.

Asian sounding man called roger claiming I had a problem with my windows computer. When I told him I had about 30 here as I repair them for a living he rudely rang off without saying goodbye

Hard sell tactics. Avoid them if you can t stand up to them or you will be pushed in to buying and finance deals to pay for it.

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.
