Claiming to be from OPUS ENERGY - Had all company details and bottom line of our supply number and wanted us to give the top line of supply number to confirm. Background sounded dodgy so I gave him the wrong one and he confirmed it was correct. He messed up when he asked for the GAS supply number - we are an all electric building. A scam at 8:02 in the morning. Automated call claimed to be my internet provider (did not say which one) and that due to illegal activity on my line would close my link in the next 24 to 48 hours unless I pressed 1 on the phone keypad (which I declined to do). I did not respond but left line open until caller ended the call.

Shortly afterwards, I looked up Cambridge Joining Technology Ltd, which turns out to be a real company, and called the mobile number on its website and warned the man that his company name is being used. He didn't recognise the number.
