Every time they say they are calling in regard to me being involved in a car accident that wasn't my fault, and wants to know the details of the accident. Today I lost it, because after having asked them to remove my number from their records three times already, and stil get these phone calls, I did get a little bit annoyed. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1612497xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, PPI, insurance claims, loans. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
