Claimed to be from the "promotional department" of my network provider O2 and they can offer me a 40% discount on my bill. When I asked how much this would be, they said they do not have my contract in front of them and "that we work with all the major networks". I am neither with o2 or have a contract....SCAM Fraud

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. If you speak then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and logged, a scammer will then call you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.

11pm call on 24/4/22 from a heavy-breathing male who did not speak.

Frankly what’s the point of the ICO/Action Fraud/7726 text reporting and all the other options Surely their easy to locate with todays technology and number of reports of this and similar numbers!

The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Don't know who it was, but the message is about Apple pay being suspended, and a link to reactivate it. Issue is I don't have apple pay
