Have been having a rash of calls in our local area from people calling claiming to be from various 'car insurance ' or 'legal service' firms saying 'you were in an accident' asking about wanting to claim for damages. They come from various numbers in different towns - Goole, Machynlleth, Peterhead, Thurso, Merthyr Tydfil,Yeovil, Strathy,Manchester (4x), Leeds and more - this is just off my phone. They said they were from the TPS they were not. Usual waffle about phone calls but just put the receiver down. Mind you I did say oh! No your not your liars then I put it down. Not worth wasting any more time on it. Be aware especially if your elderly and or disabled as your a target.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8436563xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?
