Geordie-Man asked who looks after the electric meter? I asked who he called, i.e name company etc.. and he hung up? Maybe I didn't sound like his target audience... I think some kind of Scamma!

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. No transaction has been attempted. This is a scam call.
