Been charged by virgin media for a call to this number I haven't gotva home phone scam number

SCAM said they were fromm EE and was about my internet. I don't use EE.

Nice to see the Irish H232 gateway owners promoting scammers on their gear. You'd think they'd shut these Indians down. But hey as long as they make money on it eh?

SCAM Automated call saying that money had been taken from my account in error and I needed to click in link to cancel or speak to an operator. This is a scam.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. SCAM - very sophisticated ALERT SMS message from PayPal claiming your PAYPAL ACCOUNT logged in successfully on MAc Air from Nigeria, today at 11:50AM, If you are not accessing, contact immediately: (+44) 800-058-4020 Clearly a scammer who will answer and start phishing for personal details in order to commit fraud. AVOID!

Scam, caling on behalf of HMRC

Guy with foreign accent talking about having to change my meter!! Had an agressive tone when questioned about exactly who he represented. Beware, this is some kind of fraud or scam.

I'm not sure if this number is a scam or not because my card had stopped working the day before, but would always recommend if you need to contact the bank then google what their phone number is and ring that one, NOT the number a message asks you to call (for coop bank it should be 0345 721 2212)

Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

Persistent calling purporting to be a bank (although doesn't say which), that has detected fraud on your account (?) and asks you to press number to contact them. This is a scam.

Got this call this morning. Couldn't understand a word that he was saying other than something about online trading. Number blocked!

Probable scam or fraud. The telltale signs: 1. Delay before speaking 2. Lots of background noise - a call centre 3. Says he is from a telecoms company but name is indistinct.

Another site shows calls started from this number on 5th March 2023 & users have searched this number several hundred times by 14:00 hrs on 6th March !!!! Rang off before I could answer!!?? An experience shared by many others checking this Robocall/Scam Call Centre number.

Continuously keeps trying to contact me. Starts an automated voice, explaining something to do with an emergency alert not being set up on my phone. Probably a scam, definitely block and ignore.

Both hubby and me received calls within 2 mins of each other from this number. Was blocked and registered as scam by 02.

This call - 01582766507 - at 8.15am this morning was from Microsoft ringing to tell me their system had picked up that my computer was being targeted. I hung up.

Called from this number "From Amazon" reporting I'd bought an iphone 13 online and therefore been hacked. Asked about last purchase from Amazon - I told him there was no record of any purchases in my account and he hung up
