These cowboys are so poor that they use a Hotmail email address. He called me a f*cking id*ot as he hung up when I exposed his illegal activities. I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Keep getting hassled by these fake phone contract impersonators. You block them, they contact you on another number. Normal rigmarole, offer to cut your bill, then ask you for code sent via text. They have spoofed your details and with the code cam access your account. I gave them the wrong code about 5/6 times before they gave up. I try to waste their time for as long as possible, only pleasure from these calls.SCAM
Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

Spencer from The Energy Support Hub on 02922 229968 called me today. A sales scam as far as I am concerned. Carefully worded opening sales pitch offers Home Owners with a Gas boiler over 7 years old or more a replacement boiler at no additional cost to them, or some such spiel. What the Sales team deliberately fail to mention in the opening spiel is that the cost of the boiler is met through the up to 50% saving on the Home Owners annual gas bill. This only becomes clear some way into the call.

Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back. Did not pursue the call but she effectively wanted me to complete a form over the phone and unwilling to send details in the post or elaborate on any information they hold about me. Could be phishing?
