Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. Pretending to be from Sky, telling me that there’s illegal activity going on, on my broadband, I told her that was my drug pusher, just to get rid of her, she didn’t know how to follow that, and hung up.

SCAM automated voice telling me they were from Amazon Prime and were taking £79:00 from my bank account for my yearly subscription and to press 1 on my phone. I hung up as I do not pay for my subscription yearly, definitely a SCAM

Spam call from a Doors and Windows company saying they understood I was the owner so I asked them what my name was and they put the phone down

Automated call, said failure to respond would result in charges against me, gave me a case number, seemed to be to do with national insurance, wanted me to press one. I hung up.

Auto message stating call from 'bank fraud dept' saying 'your card has been used for £300 via amazon & £1000 for an international transfer. No bank name, no card type given. Sounds like a scam as asked to press option 1 to cancel or option 3 to speak to someone.

Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. Yet more thieving scumbags who should be ashamed of themselves.

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Stopped the call, turned laptop on & off, messages disappeared. Call rec'd from 01158881064

Claimed to be HMRC number was from Cambridge, but when trying to phone this number back it says it isn't a valid number.

Fraud This has been confirmed by my bank as a phishing scam. An automated female voice told me that 600 pounds had been taken from my account from abroad! I HAVE BLOCKED IT!
