Recorded message supposedly from BT saying they will be disconnecting the line because of suspicious activity. Asking press 1 to speak to someone. I have had the same recoding sent from different numbers 12 times over the last 3 days.

SCAM: Didn't identify themselves. Asked for the previous user of the number by name. This person hasn't had the number for over six years and has been dead for about three. Unfortunately, he must've been on a 'Mugs List'. This organisation, whoever it is, obviously preys on the elderly.

Telemarketing - Called about miss sold renewable products, i do not have any. Very polite but obviously cold calling.
Accident claims. My details were sold on by Enterprise Rentacar years ago unlawfully after a car crash. I am on TPS list so this company are breaking the law by calling. Despite this law, TPSonline.org are powerless to stop it so what is the point of a list? The ICO don t do much to help either.

Very strange call, I tried to call it back. It says my call is important several times. It then gets cut off. I would avoid this number.
