I took a call from this number today. She said she was from Virgin Media and tried to sell me an upgrade to my present account, in particular their sports and film channels, which I refused. Reception on my house phone was not good, and I asked her from where she was calling, and it sounded like the Philippines.
PPI caller, claiming I put in a PPI claim in past, I've never ever put in for PPI as don't believe in credit and pay for everything by cash, there should be a law stopping these cold caller pests! A Swindon number showed up but she spoke in a Newcastle accent and when I rang back person who answered also spoke in a Newcastle accent, I think it's disgusting how they are able to use a local to caller dialling code in hope there's more probability you will answer call.
