I am incredibly careful about giving out my home number with the result that I never get any calls other than from friends. However I have just cancelled by contract with TalkTalk (for poor service) who of course do know my home number. Immediately upon cancellation I have received numerous calls from 0161 244 8122 which kind people from this site have already identified as TalkTalk.
