Scam. Voice message saying they are from hmrc to do with text fraud.
Just got an unsolicited call from them. The caller told me that the Insurance on my household appliances was on a more expensive tariff than it should be and that he could lower the cost for me by putting me on the correct tariff. I asked what appliances I had insurance on (I have no separate policy other than the cover provided by my home contents insurance) He told me it was on my oven hob and fridge. These people have been calling us weekly for last 3 months asking for my partner by name about an accident claim . There has been no accident. A few weeks ago I told them I had looked them up on the internet and there are multiple reports of them harassing people for sales and to remove my number, the calls stopped for about 3 weeks but now they have started again! Going to have to have them blocked by tel co. It s the only way they will stop, should be reported for harassment
