Roofing company who seemed to be unaware that my number was on the TPS list. To be fair, the supervisor did apologise and said they thought they had checked the list.
Shortly after completing an online purchase I received a voicemail message saying it was from Central Scotland Fraud Prevention and wanted me to ring them back regarding suspicious activity on my bank account. On calling the number on back of my card for 24 hour banking I was told that no suspicious activity had been noted and that call received was fraudulent.

I get calls on this number supposedly from Assured Protection when I answer the call it is silent for a moment and then I hear a message that the call is from Assured Protection and that no call handlers are available to take "your" call. Using the word "your" call is making it seem that the person being called has called them when in fact it is these clowns who are making the calls, obviously using some call handling software randomly dialing phone numbers.

This number called me on my mobile today, asking whether I d been in car accident in the last two years. I asked them immediately what my name was, and they repeated their original comment, though slightly rephrased. I asked for my name again, and got the same result. It then dawned on me that it was a voice recording - which then apologised for the inconvenience and said it would remove my number from their list. My guess is that the number somehow earns them money if you call it back.
