SCAM Call purporting to be from Amazon, saying my elderly mothers account has been compromised. She does not have Amazon so that alerted her enough to dial 1572 into her BT land line phone to block the call. The dialling code appears to be from the western isles, Scotland, but undoubtedly is an internet dialled call, not a genuine one. The full number was 0185 1887 453. These people make me sick, trying to rob frail elderly people. Thieves, nothing more, nothing less. Scum of the earth.

Called on a Sunday late afternoon Against code of practice and was silent.
Fraud
In addition to this number on my mobile, which I did not respond to, I had 2 other numbers in quick succession. They were 4475 1276391 and 4478 729 67737. The first suggesting I should link to a website - textilair, the second to strongsecurity and this last one to mbbgroups. As I suspected they were all scams, I did not respond to any.

I didn t answer but don t know anyone in Brighton. Hopefully it wasn t important, they didn t leave a message.
