Claimed to be from British Telecom inquiring about internet connection. Strong indian accent. As I don't have internet it was likely a scam.
Call from what looked like a Brentwood in Essex number but when I answered it is an automated womens voice asking if I had been involved in an accident of which I haven t. Bloody nuisance. I have blocked the number on my mobile now.

Had call from this number automated voice saying my amazon account will be charged 39.99 for recent purchase and any enquiry about this press number 1 to speak to advisor, this has to be a scam so be aware. I have heard of a scam in the past that if you press an extension number you are permanently connected even when you hang up and the next thing you know you have a phone bill for thousands of pounds which you have to pay because the phone company says they cant refund you because they can trace the origi
