Said we’re Domestic & General told me my appliance renewal was due asked for my sort code to renew cover I told him they must have it because we pay monthly by direct debit he said this was for our annual cover not the one we pay monthly so I told him he must be one of those scam calls he said no he wasn’t I hung up on him.
SCAM - Called speaking bad English but claims to be from Vodaphone. Usual scam offers account upgrade guessing they're after your account detail's so they can sign in & order expensive phones on your account.

Suggest callers are scammers...and hung up almost immediately when some tape message implies you are breaking the law

The call came from 0333 202 9434 but the message said to call British Gas urgently on 0121 6290765. These are the pit bulls that British Gas set on business customers who s gas bills aren t paid within a week. It s not a scam but they are very annoying, persistent and a bit clueless.
