Girl with foreign accent purported to be from TPS, but asked for me by name(!) on a new ex-directory BT number. Very concerning. She was obviously in a call centre and when I spoke to TPS shortly after, they confirmed they would not have rung out of the blue. I m wondering if BT have a member of staff who is selling ex-directory numbers to scam calling companies.
