SCAM Received a text alert claiming to be from HALIFAX “A new payee has been linked in your app. If this WAS you, ignore this message, if NOT, cancel at Halifax: cancel-payelink.com. Firstly I don’t have an account with Halifax. Secondly, there is a payerlink but no payelink i.e. with the missing “r”.
Mark Omatushu is not my name and I have had this Land Line no. since November 2004. Automated machine, well spoken English female accent asking for above name hello,if you are MARK OMATUSHU at which point I hung up immediately. Usually I ignore un recognized nos. this time I incorrectly THOUGHT I recognized, so answered. I am sure other comments are correct, debt collectors and MARK whatever name gave my no. Keep calm and don t waste any time with these A...HOLES.... Michael......
Missed call left no message. Ours is an Ex directory landline and number is never given to anyone.
SPAM I answered as is a local number to me. Obvious from background noise it was a call centre but the lady couldn’t speak English so I had no idea what it was about

Fed up with this "company" ringing today. They rang twice. The first time they asked if I had worked in a factory as I would be eligible for compensation?? They had not heard of TPS and when I questioned further they hung up. Rang again less than 4hrs later but hung up when I answered.How do we stop this harassment?
This is from a company called resorts direct and phone to sell you 2 weeks holiday in europe(spain,portugal,etc). They offer 2 weeks for £499+vat and then as a special 4 weeks for £499+vat. If you Google them they will have unfavourable comments. I listened on the phone and the deal sounded really good so I asked them to ring back later so I could do some research.
SCAM called me about a tv cover plan we don't have. When asked when I requested their service they became defensive. Put phone done on them and they had the nerve to call back to say I had been rude :D Total scam, touting for business
