Message advised the the issue was extremely time sensitive and requested me or my solicitor to return their call - if neither you or your solicitor do not return the call there will be consequences - do not disregard this message get ready to face legal consequences - good by and take care!! Obviously not rung back - I am sure HMRC put things in writing - beware do not answer.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Received a call this evening from 02032875165 - foreign accent, stating I had been selected by UK Government to receive a tax free grant of £8000. Apparently I was selected because I was a good bill payer and did not have a criminal record ! I was given a claim reference number and asked to call this number back within 25 minutes and speak to a manager who will release the money to me. I didn't bother calling back. What's the old phrase? If something's too good to be true it probably isn't !

SCAM This is yet another number used in the “extremely time sensitive” fake HMRC scam. Hysterical, really. This is my 4th received call, picked up by ansaphone. Same female voice, but this time stating the caller’s identity as “Dennis Grey”. They’ve used different numbers to call from before, this is the first time they’ve used this number. HMRC SCAM, DO NOT RESPOND.
