Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Ok, there can be some legitimate reason why use numbers with shared rate, but not when this is a silent call... Did someone answer this number?

I have just dealt with these crooks for my partner with a swift refund and remedy / kick up the backside to them. - Search on Google for Nexfer Social, load the forums board and click on 'The Thread' - This post can be found in its proper formatting there. (too long and gives errors when I try and post it here...) If anyone is wishing to reclaim the monies heisted by these crooks, follow these simple steps (refunded to me within 3 days of noticing it).

Automated caller with female voice claiming charges made to VISA account, one of around £700 and another of £900 from earlier in the day. Prompts the caller to press '1' to cancel the charges. Would appear to be a scam and would strongly recommend not pressing 1 and hanging up and blocking the number,

Got a call claiming to be from Virgin Media Business. I said I didn't want to talk to them. They implied that because of work they are doing in the area my line might be affected if I did not speak to them. Obviously this is garbage.

cold calling asking if I had been in a no fault car accident.

ths number didn't call me, it was on a transaction on my credit card that i didn't do. there were six pending transactions that i didn't do to deliveroo. total was £170. first transaction was 5th May, last was 11th May, got a text message from credit card company asking if i had done it. Card was cancelled and amounts were refunded. knew i hadn't done these tranactions as i don't use deliveroo.

Woman askin about car accident then passed to Asian man who was asking my details I said u tell me!!! He couldn’t do so then became abusive and hung up

This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All of them are used for some kind of telemarketing (sometimes also cold calling), seems to be working for non-profit organizations (Cancer Research UK and similar), but in fact nuisance. People did someone answer this number?

I and my partner have received these calls. They are quite convincing and can understand how some less aware people are caught out. My biggest concern is people say they have reported it to police on 101, Trading standards, TPS and Ofcom but it is still go

I put the phone down when a non-local accent asked if I could take a call for my husband about the accident that had been reported. I said, "there was none" and put the phone down.
